“It was the right decision for me. I didn’t want to deal with dentures or acrylic plates or have a mouth full of plastic. The 3 on 6 is the way to go. I’m very happy with it. I’ve been smiling the 24 hours since I got them.”
"My confidence is back, I smile, I can eat whatever I want, I can go out to dinner. After I first got them in my first meal was a steak and that was the best tasting steak I've ever eaten in my life."

All-on-4, All-on-X, All Confusion!
We get it, the names can get confusing. Let's try to simplify it, shall we? The All-on-4 was started in the late 1970's by Nobel Biocare as a semi-permanent alternative to dentures. It's popularity launched many different iterations, mostly differing by the number of implants they each had (ie, All-on-6, All-on-8, etc). To simply, any prosthesis with teeth and artificial gums being permanently secured to the mouth can be referred to as "All-on-X", the "X" representing a modifiable number of implants.
The All-on-X method of treatment places a single-piece, horseshoe shaped restoration in the mouth. To prevent it from breaking it is made to be thick and bulky and include artificial gums. Most patients jaws would be resting in an open position with that big of a restoration, and so in most cases the doctors will cut out bone from the patient's mouth in order to make room for the thick and bulky All-on-X.
If you're considering an All-on-X, you should first consider the benefits of the 3 on 6™. Most people don't understand how important their bone is to their teeth health. The 3 on 6™ is a conservative approach to teeth restoration and is designed to preserve and protect the bone. Only the teeth are replaced and if there has been bone loss, the surgeon will work to restore it instead of cutting more out. The 3 on 6™ provides a healthy and more hygienic alternative to the All-on-4 and All-on-X options.

The Steps To Your New Smile
Step 1: Free Consultation
Everything begins with a free consultation with a 3 on 6™ certified doctor. A consultation with our doctor includes a free full mouth digital scan and intraoral examination so we can identify the health of your teeth and your jaw bone. After this our office can tell you if the 3 on 6 procedure is right for you or recommend another treatment. Our doctor will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have including questions about dental implants, the 3 on 6, the all on 4 or all on x, overdentures, full mouth dental implants, or traditional dentures.
All of our consultations are no pressure and zero obligation. The consultation will typically will last around an hour and we’ll be able to calculate the exact cost before you leave, as well as help with insurance and arranging financing.
Step 2: Implant Surgery
At the following appointment, the implant surgery will take place. This can be done with local anesthesia or you can choose to be sedated. After this surgery, the implants will need to heal for anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.
After this appointment you might see your new smile for the first time! You'll have a temporary bridge placed on the implants so that you have a beautiful smile while you heal. You will be able to use these teeth for soft chewing during your healing period as directed by your doctor.
Our dental lab will use scans of your teeth or pre-designed models to design your new smile. You will have input on the design including the shade of the teeth.
Step 3: Temporary Restoration
Once your implants are healed, your temporary bridges will be removed and a new set of temporary bridges placed on your implants. This step is to ensure the bite is correct, and that you like the design and color of the teeth.
After trying the bridges for two weeks the doctor will meet with you again to see if you’re happy with your smile or if you would like some adjustments with the shade or fit. Based on your feedback, the Doctor may make some modifications to your bridges.
Step 4: Final Bridges
After everything is looking and feeling good, the final zirconia bridges will then be made by our dental lab specialists, based on the specifications from your Doctor. A final appointment will be scheduled in which the Doctor will place your final bridges. The final bridges will be beautiful polished and strong.
Your new 3 on 6™ smile will be beautiful and permanent. You don't have to ever remove it and can maintain it with simple brushing and flossing. You can smile, speak, kiss, and chew with confidence!
