General Cleanings

For the Whole Family

The Process

Step 1: Cleaning

After checking in, the first step in your general cleaning appointment will be to get your teeth professionally cleaned by a certified dental hygienist. They will ensure your teeth are up to industry cleanliness standards.

Step 2: X-Ray

Once your teeth have been professionally cleaned, our dental hygienist will take an x-ray of your teeth. This will allow our doctors to checkup on your teeth and get a better idea of what's happening inside your mouth.

Step 3: Check-Up

After your x-ray is complete, a doctor will come to examine your teeth and the x-ray scan. They will discuss the condition of your teeth with you, and bring up any problems they might see. If further work is required, they will bring up your options and offer a free consultation if extensive work is necessary.

How often do I need dental cleanings?

It's recommended that you get your teeth professionally cleaned and checked on every 6 months. This way you can catch problems with your teeth before they get worse, as well as increase your chances of preventing problems from happening in the first place.

How long will a cleaning take?

You can expect a cleaning and checkup to take 20-30 minutes. This includes an x-ray, professional cleaning, and an exam from one of our doctors.
